ZERO RTM System

Polipol 3387-ZERO is a zero shrink resin which is specially designed for RTM productions. It provides exceptional dimensional stability and excellent surface quality. When Polipol 3387- ZERO is used as RTM resin in molds produced with Polipol 321- ZERO tooling resin, it is possible to obtain a high degree of dimensional conformity to model and design.

② Gelcoat – Polijel 210, 212, 213 or 215 (depends on performance needed)

③ RTM Resin – Polipol 3387-ZERO    

ZERO Tooling System Components

① Tooling Gelcoat – Polijel P-272 or P-220 (depends on performance needed)

② Barrier Coat – Polijel BC-782  

③ Skin Coat – Polives 701-TA

④ Tooling Resin – Polipol 321-ZERO

It is possible to produce flat, corrugated, transparent or colored sheets at a high processing speed with continuous laminating.

Fastest RTM Production

Polipol 3387-ZERO a DCPD hybrid resin with fast cure properties increases production speed.

It is essential for the industry where standard RTM resins do not provide high numbers of production.

Class A Surface Quality

Polipol 3387-ZERO provides high-quality surface finish and high production numbers at the same time. ZERO resin offers excellent fiber wetting and fast cure properties at room temperature with conventional Mek-p based peroxides.

It is also possible to incorporate fillers for special production needs at the site of production just as standard RTM resins.

Dimentional Stability

Dimensional changes may occur during RTM production at the stages of cure or post cure. This not only causes difficulties during demolding but also causes internal stress generation, micro cracks, and deformation of the article.

Polipol 3387 ZERO offers a solution where complex geometries at the finished article are required. Some examples are vehicle parts production, AC channels productions, water slide and parks productions, stairway production with RTM technology.

High Mechanical Values

Polipol 3387-ZERO offers exceptional mechanical values also. It has high tensile and flexural strain values in combination with high HDT value.
