Wacker HDK N20
Thixotropy Additives
Fumed silica functions as a thixotropic additive and increases viscosity of resins and gelcoats while preventing sagging on vertical surfaces when added to resin systems.
AL-100 / AL-200 / AL-300
Heat & Electricity Conductive Fillers
Polyester resins have very low heat and electrical conductivity values. It is possible to incorporate aluminum powders inside their matrix to allow for heat and electricity conductivity. This filler can be used in molds for acrylic sheets, solar panels or satellite receivers. It is possible to obtain a metal like appearance from castings with aluminum powder. AL-100, AL- 200 and AL-300 each have different particle sizes.
Coathylene HA 1682
Fillers for SMC-BMC
Coathylene HA 1682 is used for dimentional stability, to control volumetric shrinkage, for better surface appearance and to improve the mechanical properties of SMC and BMC formulations.
Zinc Stearate
Fillers for SMC-BMC
Zinc Stearate is an internal release agent which promotes demolding of parts.
Luvatol
Fillers for SMC-BMC
Luvatol is a MgO paste which is a thickener for SMC formulations.
LSA / LSB / LSC
LP / LSA Thermoplastics Additives
LSA is a polystrene solutions for hot press applications. It provides low shrinkage and floating. LSB and LSC are polyvinyl acetate solutions. They are low profile (LP) additives that provides better surface quality and low shrinkage. It is possible to obtain Class A surface quality in SMC formulations which contain LP additives LSB and LSC.
Calcite and Dolamite
Economical Fillers
Calcite and dolamite are fillers used to lower the cost of composite parts by replacing or decreasing the volume of resin in the structure, also enabling to have more rigid parts. These fillers can decrease elongation values. Primary application areas are artificial marble and composite wall panels.
Economical Fillers Talk Extra Extra
Economical Fillers
Talk Extra Extra minerals help with ease of sanding, because of this, it is the preferred choice for car body repair putties and other sandable product formulations.
Expancel 551
Weight Reducing Fillers
Expancel 551 is a small sized hollow plastic filler particle which decreases the density of the formulation. It is possible to use Expancel 551 in easily sandable formulations and where weight reduction is critical.
Glass Microspheres
Weight Reducing Fillers
Microspheres are hollow glass spheres which decrease the density of formulations and can be used in putty formulations because of their small particle sizes, around 70μ.
Corundum
Improve Abrasion Resistance
This filler is a crystal form of aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃), which is one of the hardest minerals in nature with a mohs value of over 9. It is possible to incorporate this filler into resin or sprinkle it on the surface of wet resin.
Apyral 16 / Alolt 2AF
Flame Retardant Fillers
Aluminium hydroxide (Al(OH)³) filler is the most common filler for flame retardant applications. Flame retardancy increases as the ratio of ATH increases in the formulation. Apyral 16 and Alolt 2AF have the optimum particle size distribution enabling higher loadings to the formulation with a reasonable cost value.
Chemours Ti-Pure R-902+
White Pigments
Chemours Ti-Pure R-902+ is a white pigment powder suitable for interior or exterior formulations. R-902+ has an excellent balance of performance in both in water based and solvent based formulations such as high chalking resistance, high gloss and bright coloring.
Carbon Black
Black Pigments
Carbon black pigment with color index number P.Bl.7 is for general industrial use. Pure black color gives a deep black effect.
