Health
Poliya continuous all its operations, from production and supply
processes to product design, so as not to have any negative impact
on human health, whether it’s a Poliya worker, visitor or customer. We
supply low-styrene emission resins and gelcoats for the composite
industry as well as special eco-pigment series. Poliya integrates the
“Responsible Care” principles through all its opeerations an action
plans, methods and tools with this approach.
Poliya is aware of its responsibilities for labor, enviroment
and public health safety in all the activities it performs. We
are commited to improve our awareness and performance in
every aspect of health and safety. We realize this commitment
under our “Responsible Care” program principles.
Poliya supplies special eco-pigment series with no unwanted
chemical substances (based on existing regulations) such
as Phtalates, Azo compounds, Cadmium, Mercury, Lead,
Chromium and other heavy metals , to protect the producers
and end-users as well as the environment.
We train our employees, partners and customers on
minimizing health risks while handling and manufacturing with
our products.
Safety

Poliya implements “most advanced applications” to all management
systems as the basic principle in the design of new products, facilities,
equipment and operational processes with “Zero Accident” target.
ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management
System is applied and used as a guide in our health and safety
activites. We determine our management policies in line with
these standard requirements.
Poliya supports the underlying goals of REACH, which
include public awareness and placing greater responsibility
on industry to manage the risks that chemicals may pose to
public health and the environment. Poliya is committed to
fulfilling requirements of REACH regulation and EU chemical
regulations.

Environment
Poliya cares about environment and is aware of today’s
environmental threats. We always prioritize “Sustainability” when it
comes to environment, as we believe it’s a heritage to be passed to
future generations. Poliya offers different “Sustainable Development”
options, such as products with recycled or bio-renewable material
content, providing products in recycled or reusable packaging for
customers who also cares for the environment.
We are continously trying to decrease energy consumption,
our carbon foot print target is continuosly monitored and
action plans are created by to minimize our carbon emissions.
Poliya’s priority is to fulfill legal requirements and work
according to the highest standards including ISO 14001. We
control the environmental effects of our activities and apply
improvement oriented management methods.
Poliya contributes to reforestation activities and recycles its sol-
id waste. Poliya’s office environment cooperates with TEMA
(The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Refor-
estation and the Protection of Natural Habitats) on the recy-
cling of paper resources.
Quality
Poliya targets to develop its organizational and management systems
within the EFQM principles framework and cooperates with KalDer to
achieve this target. We apply both national and international quality
standards required in every process at our integrated production
plant.
Since 1999, Poliya applies and certified (by BSI) with ISO
9001 Quality Management System. A broad range of
products are also supplied to marine industry with Lloyd’s
Register certification.
Poliya implements the requirements of ISO 10002 Customer
Satisfaction Management System in order to satisfy its
customers and ensure absolute customer satisfaction. Poliya
continues its activities with the scope of ISO 27001, observing
the importance of protecting information as well as having it.
Quality control is delivered by statistical process controls,
acceptance sampling and sophisticated methods like ANOVA
coupled with advanced equipment and qualified technical
teams, which enable superior and consistent Poliya products.
Management System Policy

Energy Management System Policy
- Reducing the energy consumption we use per unit production in our organization, to continuously increase our energy performance, and for this purpose, we aim to reduce our energy density and increase awareness of energy efficiency within the organization.
- In order to fulfill these goals, we will first apply the ISO 50001 Energy Management System standard and ensure that all requirements of this standard are implemented correctly, we will use all the necessary resources and information, and we will experience a continuous improvement process to provide them;
- Also, by regularly reviewing;
- To be the company that uses energy most efficiently in the sector by increasing the quality of energy management in this way by constantly monitoring the developing technologies,
- Ensuring the continuous improvement with employees whose training and experience in energy efficiency are constantly increased and a management approach open to communication,

- Using the energy and natural resources efficiently in all our production and processes and to continuously improve our energy performance with energy efficiency studies and improvement projects,
